Biography
Morgan Wallen is a once-in-a-generation country voice. Born in East Tennessee in 1993, he grew up on a steady mix of George Strait, Garth Brooks and the bluegrass picking of his hometown's front porches.
After being introduced to America on The Voice in 2014, he moved to Nashville and spent four years writing songs, playing dive bars and learning to be an artist before his debut. Today he holds streaming records that have stood for decades, but the appeal has never been the numbers — it's the honesty.
He still lives on a farm an hour east of Nashville. Still writes with the same circle of friends. Still wears the same backwards cap.
